Amid casual hookup culture, college revives sex column

Readership was through the roof. Students from all corners of campus were quickly flipping through the pages of The Daily Collegian, Pennsylvania State University's student newspaper, in search of one particularly — err, raunchy — column.
It was the first week of October 2011, and the sex column "Mounting Nittany" had just made its debut. The tweets and comments came pouring in as columnist Kristina Helfner wrote: "I love sex. I love talking about it, I love having it and I'm sure I'm not the only one, male or female, who feels the same way."
